Since 1997, I have been leading study tours, primarily to Turkey. I am fascinated with the biblical history that covers much of the country. The best way to follow the footsteps of Paul and others is to view the sites by both sea and land. The biblical text comes alive in fresh and penetrating ways when you stand in a Roman theater, explore caves where early Christians hid from persecution, or walk down the main street of Ephesus.
